Construction of a high-quality warehouse and ancillary office development at 20-24 Caribou Drive, Direk SA.
The warehouse and garage structure consist of structural steel portal frame bearing supported on pile footings. The office consists of structural steel frame bearing upon the integrated raft slab, divided by non-loadbearing internal timber frames. The warehouse and garage areas are enveloped by sheet metal roof and wall claddings with divisional Trimdek wall installed between the two spaces. Impact and water resistant linings envelop the exterior of the office within the warehouse and garage.
Externally, rendered Hebel forms the external cladding. Double-glazed and single-glazed window suites have been installed to the office façade, with internal glazing featured between the reception and open office area. Interior linings consist of plasterboard affixed to timber wall frame and a combination of ceramic tiles and carpeted open office area. Floor covering to the mezzanine consists of carpet tiles, except for the kitchen and communications room which received a vinyl floor and skirtings.
