Centina were appointed as managing contractor for the project post tender, given the need for further coordination and design development. Cost control and constructability input through this process, has ensured the best cost and time outcome has been achieved

This project commenced as a fast tracked Managing Contractor arrangement, where a 2,200m2 two-story food court adjoins existing tenancies. The façade consists of large expanses of glazing, combined with interlocking panels.

The buildings key architectural feature is a warped multi-cell polycarbonate veil- which required detailed coordination with trades, material suppliers and the engineer through the design process to make viable.

With the expansion of an additional 120 carparks, a major storm water upgrade was also required, whereby an existing creek was cut and covered. A collaborative value engineering process has resulted in a significant cost saving in the major civil package.

Fit Out includes polished concrete floors, wet areas, internal partitions, and service provisions for individual tenancies such as Zambrero’s. The project was completed 23% below the competitive tender price originally offered by Centina.
