Centina worked collaboratively with the client and consultants, to deliver an architecturally designed day theatre, inclusive of specialized services and fit out

The project commenced as a base-build package, which included the structure, building envelope, base services, and car park. Key features include precast blades and light weight infills/ fins, a glazed entry with high light windows throughout, high level maxline cladding, and a functioning service yard.

Consecutively, Centina were awarded the project fit out following a period of post tender value management to align cost with aesthetic and function.

Through the course of construction, a high level of service coordination was required to ensure D&C packages were fit for purpose, product/ design compliance with Aus HFG, and service provisions were in place for medical plant and equipment.

The interior fit out of the operating theatres/ consult rooms included a high level circulation space, architectural joinery throughout, functional floor and wall vinyl, feature lighting, and access compliant wet areas and doors. Centina’s detailed and collaborative approach ensured the building was delivered prior to SA Health inspection, with no functional issues and with cost control maintained throughout.
